Human Rights at Sea is delighted to have been asked by Lloyds List to support the selection of the inaugural Tom Leander fellow, Miss Kuganiga Kuganeswaran and to be able to offer her experience in the maritime human rights charitable sector during her three month internship. The internship is sponsored by the law firm Norton Rose Fulbright LLP.
HRAS trustee, Captain Jessica Tyson, attended the selection day at Lloyds List offices, and was part of the selection team which saw a number of very highly qualified and enthusiastic prospective interns shortlisted.
The charity is now looking forward to welcoming Kuganiga to their office and to show her just a small amount of the work that we undertake in support of advocacy, education and investigations concerning maritime human rights abuses.
