Anna Khoma is a maritime lawyer. Anna graduated from the Educational and Scientific Institute of Maritime Law and Management of National University “Odessa Maritime Academy”. Anna is a management committee member in COST Action Blue Rights for 2024-2028, a WISTA member since 2024 and our representative in Ukraine since 2022. Anna is focused on aspects of Maritime, Labour, Insurance and Commercial Law, as well as Arbitration and Litigation. Anna is engaged in preparing analysis of national and international shipping practice. She is deeply engaged in area of protection of human rights at sea during war, armed conflicts and etc. Being fluent in English, French, Ukrainian and Russian, Anna contributed to the development of the Geneva Declaration on Human Rights at Sea (GDHRAS) in Ukraine. Anna works closely with Ukrainian MPs, non-government organizations to promote protection of human rights at sea in Ukraine. She is keen on making great input towards worldwide recognition of human rights at sea.
