INTERN Anastasia Papapetrou is an LLM student of International Law at the University of Westminster. She has also studied English Language and Literature in the National University of Athens and currently she is a part time student at the Law School (LLB) of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has worked as a translator of legal texts and particularly International Law ones. Her academic interests deal with Human Rights Law, Law of the Sea and International Humanitarian Law.
“This internship has helped me to put into practice the knowledge I have in the Law of the Sea and International Human Rights Law. Alongside this, I had the opportunity to discover some aspects of Refugee Law which is a branch of Law that I did not previously deal with, and which I am very interested in. This gave me the initiative to get more engaged with it”.
Anastasia’s internship is kindly supported by The Fishmongers’ Company, Fisheries Charitable Trust Targeted Academic Sponsorship Programme.
