Human Rights at Sea is pleased to be able support one of its partner organisations in the United States in searching of a high quality individual to join the FishWise team in Santa Barbara, California.

The Position

FishWise is seeking a Project Manager – Human Rights. This is a full-time position based in the FishWise office in Santa Cruz, CA. The Project Manager will be responsible for research, development, and execution of work plans on human rights, under the direction of the Human Rights Lead Project Director. The role will involve close engagement with human rights and industry experts to address human rights issues in seafood supply chains.

The ideal candidate(s) for a Project Manager position should demonstrate:

  • Understanding of and desire to learn more about human rights challenges, socially responsible business practices, and relevant stakeholders e.g. supply chain businesses, NGOs, and government agencies
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelors degree in a related field, Masters preferred
