Human rights at Sea Founder David Hammond will be joining international speakers at this years World Oil and Gas Corporate Security Forum in London by invitation, to discuss issues of human rights and business as part of commercial Corporate Social Responsibility.

Joining him on 29 October in the session entitled “Incorporating Human Rights Commitments With Wider Corporate Policies & Responsibilities” will be Mark Knight, Director, Montreux Solutions and Andrew Orsmond, Executive Director, the International Code of Conduct Association (ICoCA).

The aim of the Human Rights at Sea international initiative (HRAS) is to explicitly raise the profile, awareness, implementation and accountability for human rights protections throughout the maritime industry, especially where they are currently absent and being abused.

HRAS is a private not-for-profit international organisation based in London with representation in 13 states and over 40 international supporting partner organisations worldwide.
